It won't be the only one, but this may be Cyberpunk 2077's funniest reference to The Witcher.
The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of detail (as this week's latest Night City Wire presentation well demonstrated). And as The Witcher 3 players will know, both worlds coexist in the same "universe", or at least in parallel universes.
There are several references shared between the two CD Projekt games, but this may be the most fun of all. Nilfgaard, the most powerful region on the Continent from The Witcher, appears in Cyberpunk 2077 ... with a slight variation in its name. Can you imagine where the shots go if we say that it is the most "spicy" reference in the game? (And no, it has nothing to do with Geralt's meme in the bathtub.)
The truth is that it is not Nilfgaard that appears in Cyberpunk ... but Milfgaard. And it is no longer a warlike kingdom, but an erotic magazine. No need to explain the pun.

- GamesRadar + (@GamesRadar) October 16, 2020Cyberpunk 2077 includes other such winks, which will have to hunt the most astute players, such as a powerful sword from Geralt's game, Aerondight, converted into a luxury car.

Precisely, in a scene from The Witcher 3 (semi-spoilers of the game from here, watch out), Ciri tells a stunned Geralt that, between his interdimensional travels, he found a world "with glass houses, people with metals in their bodies, and no flying ships instead of horses." The scene even inspired a fan to put together their own fan trailer, Cyberpunk 2077 narrated by Ciri.
Cyberpunk 2077 has a shorter story because not many people finished The Witcher 3
This, of course, would open the door for Ciri herself makes a cameo in Cyberpunk 2077... although CD Projekt denied it. We will have to wait until November 19 to be completely sure ...
